I changed the CPU to a Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33 GHz. Presently it is running at 3.18GHz, 455 FSB, 910MHz memory. Cool. Running F@H SMP for a few hours after every speed increase. Looking good! Bozo :joker:

I have found the XP seems to stall when copying large and/or lots of small files. My guess is it is taking some sort of inventory before it starts the actual copy process. Moving 4-5GB accross the network causes it to seemingly hang for upwards of 5 minutes. Then it starts the copy process...

I would think that the alarm system did exactly what it was supposed to do. It prevented the car from being stolen. Scum balls must have broke something during the attempt. A day or two inconvienance is better than losing the car. Bozo :joker:
