Is it in normal desktop use?

Well, my 168 hour challenge is complete. I started with 86% battery and ended with 18%. The cellular and WiFi radio were on the whole time. Bluetooth and location services were not.

Five days later without charging it and I'm at 35%.

It's about 6 month old. I haven't charged it any since yesterday morning. It says I have 74% battery left.

Well, it's possible that the battery gauge is lying to me. It indicates the phone uses about 10% of the charge per day sitting (powered up with the radios [cellular / wifi] on). I haven't tried to actually use it for a week without charging it. I charge it daily for about 10 minutes in my car...

My Moto G5S+ can probably last a week with very light use on a single charge.

I'm not really sure. There's not much performance increase, but there's a big increase in power consumption. It certainly isn't suited for a laptop if you care about battery life.

Regular folk don't buy $1-2k lenses either. Regular folk use their camera phones. Even most of the "regular folk" who buy a DSLR don't buy any other lenses beyond the kit lens(es) that comes with it.
