Installing XP from SATA optical drives

Is there anything installed that could change the drive letter after the reboot. XP might be looking for D, but BIOS reports it as E ?? Is the boot order floppy, cd, hard drive? BIOS setting 'Plug and play OS = no'? Bozo :joker:

Where to buy Seasonic & Which One

I also instaled the 120mm fan from behind the power supply to the fan bracket in front of the upper hard drive enclosure. Plenty of air flow in the case and still quiet. Bozo :joker:

Where to buy Seasonic & Which One

I also removed the fan behind the power supply in all the P180 cases I've installed lately. I then mounted an 80mm fan to the intake grill to push some air across the hard drives. I used wire ties to attach the fan. The opening looks large enough to accomodate a 90mm fan. Bozo :joker:

    Why C.A.F.E Standards are Dumb

I had the privilage of driving the Honda all battery whatever it was called many years ago. I missed my chance at an EV1. And, there was an all battery car made in the 1930's ???? The toyota Prius millage drops from 56MPG to 34MPG in the winter. Just ask my sister-in-law. She owns one. It...

    Why C.A.F.E Standards are Dumb

jtr1962: The auto manufacturers build what the public will buy. There are plenty of cars available that get decent millage. They are sitting on lots. Ask Chrysler. In the past year, they have had to buy/rent large amounts of acreage to store their unsold cars. Indy cars are over $200,000.00...

Standard Comcast home cable. About $45 a month. The Speedboost doesn't help much when the sending server is slow.
