Well, I'm very underwhelmed with the HE-560. I think they sound pretty bad. Nothing like my HE-500. Edit: It's the stupid cable. The balanced XLR cable is wired wrong. Idiots... Oh, and it's glued together so I can't open it up and fix it.

For me, I only need two SPF+ once I initially go 10gb. The MicroTik would work. Sure, it doesn't have any room for expansion, but it's cheap enough that by the time I need to add a 3rd 10gb computer (not anytime soon) there will likely be other cheap fanless switch options with more SPF+ ports...

Yes, I've seen the same complaining that they won't sell parts and that they're not so friendly with warranty claims. It wouldn't stop me from buying, but I would give it some consideration. The products from them I do have held up well and still work.

The HiFiman Sundara headphones sound amazing! They're quite comfortable too. I think a pair is in my future.

XB41 was at CES. XB40 is last year's model and I have one at home. I didn't extensively A/B the XB3 and the XB40, but I thought they sounded similar with the XB40 able to play louder before rolling off the bass.

I bought myself an XB40 during Black Friday when it was $100 off. I would expect the XB30 will be discounted when they close them out.

I couldn't tell. It was too noisy and didn't have any point of reference for comparison or familiarity with what was being played.

Sony added 1 to the model numbers. So XB41, XB31 etc. for 2018. They're wrapped in a fabric of sorts and have a "live" mode where you can play them like a drum by tapping on them. the sound effects get superimposed on the music.

I have had T-Mobile for about 2 years. Last spring I moved over two of the numbers from Verizon and switched to a T-Mobile family plan. I finally killed off the last line with Verizon by porting the number to Google Voice (which forwards to the T-Mobile number).
