The shroud is a 3 sided metal stamping that attaches to the base that the power supply sits on. It is attached by 4 screws, 2 on each side of the power supply base. When installed, it actually wraps around the power supply. I am actually disappointed in this case. Running the cabling is a pain...

Don't know about dual/single core issues, but running any kind of virtualization softare on a Celeron pretty much sucks. Even with 2GB of RAM and 2-WD Raptors in RAID 0. Bozo :joker:

Why can't you go into Device Manager and under Computers and have it scan for new hardware. On some systems I have taken a backup from a Celeron box and installed it on a P4 without any trouble. I just install the latest .inf files from Intel after Windows finishes finding all the new hardware...

Electric heat is not inefficient. For every dollar you spend on electric heat, you get a dollars worth of heat. All the heat produced is used to heat the room/building. 100% efficient. This might be a double edged sword. The system I'm using has a CPU running at 800MHz. My memory is rated at 667MHZ but is only running at 533MHz. It looks like with the system clock low, the memory runs low. Still investigating. Bozo :joker:
