Hi Tannin: Yes, we had that discussion, long ago. Given time, 2000 did prove to be an excellent system. Wonder if you could have repaired your version, rather then reinstalling? I recently lost an install, and I believe it was due to a loose scsi card, and a bad cable, corrupting files...

WOW!!! :eekers: :bounce: It's amazing how slow the clock speed is, yet how fast the results are with the Opteron. Why? 64 bit? So I buy a mobo and single Opteron, at 1.4 ghz and it's as fast as a 3.0 ghz, Xeon??? gs

Pradeep: You have the beauty of the Klipsch line. In the old days, when a 35 watt tube amp was a grand, when a grand was a LOTT of money, you could have insane speakers, with a Yamaha regular amp, with 30-35 watts, and still not break the bank. At less then half volume, in my little house in...

You can, and I do, tune my klipsch speakers to play well whatever the music is. Mozart 427 is simply fantastic. However, keep in mind the Yamaha amp has different sound settings that allow you to go from a rock concert, to a concert hall, to a 70mm spectacular, without having to tune much of...

I firmly believe the Kennedy"s, three of em, were killed by the Mafia. They had been business partners with the mob, running alcohol, under Joe K. The mob swung the election for JFK, using the unions, in one of the north eastern states. Kennedy wins, and, his brother turns around and...

If your reciever is adjustable, for volume on each channel, I've found Klipsch to be the most efficent speaker, requiring the least amps for sound.
