Anyone know of a program that can shut off the CD, floppy and USB ports? I need to lock down some computers, but I still want to give full access to privelged individuals. Bozo :mrgrn:

When installed, Picasa create folders all over the hard drive. Virtually in every program file. I had a hell of a time cleaning up the mess when I removed it. On occasion, I still find a Picasa file buried some where. I never found a good use for Picasa either. Seems like it's a indexing service...

I recently Purchase a 42" Sony Wega with a CRT screen. Had other TVs delivered (LCD that was smaller and a 50 something projection) but sent them back. The CRT just looks better to us and can be veiwed from any where in the room. Bozo :mrgrn:

I agree with jtr1962. Back when I started school, teachers wanted to teach. Now, they want outrageous pay for doing nothing and a extra fat pension for when they start doing even less. Don't have a picture, and I'm not at work where the P115s are, but if you pick up any SATA hard drive, the connections are the same. The SATA data connector and SATA power connector are side-by-side just like a hard drive. I won't be able to attemp a picture until Sunday or Monday. Wouldn't it...

Never had a memory problem with any Intel brand motherboard. Crucial, Kingston, Corsair all work first time everytime no matter how many slots are used. If the memory sticks aren't matched, you don't get dual channel mode, but all the RAM is usable without causing problems or having to 'tune'...

I've been using Kingston for years. A little pricey, but you get what your paying for. http://www.storcase.com/removable/removable_overview.asp The Vantec doesn't give any indication of how many insertions/removes the connector is rated for. Worrisome. IIRC the Kingstons are rated for 50,000+...
