    Certifications

I'm thinking about going for Sun Solaris system administration I and II tests in the next few months. I'll probably do the 2.8 because that's the one we use at work, and maybe later do an "upgrade" certification test to v9. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge about these tests?

Not bad :) I just came home from a 3 day course, just to find my folders waiting to fold :(. A ctrl-c and start later they are all happily crunching again. It seems the retry function isn't too good(?).

Anyone have any troubles with this software? Seems buggy as hell, even after patches. OS is WinXP (one ME also). Several crashes, when starting and in the program also. A couple friends with totally different HW are both experiencing this.

    Replace Epox with MSI?

After many problems with leaking capacitators on MSI mobos, I wouldn't recommend it. They have also been a 1-2 years old. I'm still having the least amount of problems with Asus mobos (after Abit, MSI and some others).

Bummer, I thought that one would have needed to forcesse only on the beta version. If it's better, why not make it default then? I just enabled the forcesse on my bartons and my laptop, Quebecer.

    Brrrrrrrr....so bloody cold

Talk about a bad winter so far. Last year this time you could drive around in the archipelago here with a car, on the ice. Not this year, still open waters in many places. We've had a few cold stretches here, but then warmer weather again. Now it's about -15C.

Damm that the new Bartons are locked. I wouldn't have minded the boost from 166-200fsb. Gotta give away one barton 2600 and an Athlon 500 today. :( But instead I'll hopefully have an Barton 2800 tomorrow. ...just as I was about to show CougTek who the man is ...;)

    Beautiful Barton

Maybe I'll try and see what the 2600 says. Only problem is it's going to a client and I'm getting another 2800 home for myself. With the 2800 it'll probably be too much. A google found this about the 2600: 11.5x166 , so with the 200FSB, that would do 2300MHz....Hmmmm, that might be possible...

Yes, but with the multiplier locked a jump from 166 to the next "official" FSB speed will be too much. :( And I'm too lazy to try out the speeds in between, because I don't think that the mobo had pci and agp locks on their speeds (a7v600), gotta check though.
