In my experience the 4TB Seagates are faster than both the 7200rpm Hitachi models.

I guess this is the same drive. Mine was made in China (4/2013), not the Thailands. Perhaps that is why it was cheap.

I guess you meant "Constellation"? There are others : ST4000DM000 (standard Barracuda) and ST4000VN000 (their NAS drive).

Oh, my bad. Those two are 5900rpm, not 7200rpm.
