Are the high-capacity Seagate drives still having issues?

I remember reading about several reliabiliity issues with the large capacity Seagate drives.

Are those resolved now?

A retailer near me has excellent pricing on some disks, and I was considering buying some.

I am omnipresent
I can say with absolute certainty that the 5400rpm 2TB Seagate drives don't like being in arrays, though I suspect that wasn't their intended application to begin with.

I've had one out of eight 1.5TB 7200rpm drives fail in 10 months and two out of 16 1.5TB FreeAgent drives I've purchased have crapped out.

I don't know about "issues" but Seagate doesn't exactly dazzle me with reliability.

I think I'll stay away then. The Hitachi's & Samsung's I've traditionally used are only about $15 more each.

It also turns out that they're the 5400 RPM ones... yech.
