A new browser supposed to stop advertisements from tracking you

https://www.brave.com/#about

Based on Chromium and from Mozilla's previous CEO. It is currently still in development (version 0.7).

I plan to try it when it'will reach version 1.0.

It's telling that the project isn't based on Mozilla software, but I still see Chromium-based browsers as having very limited privacy controls and a weak addon ecosystem regardless. Moz doesn't do Sandboxing, but it does have Noscript and RequestPolicy and it also has NPAPI (I have things that need Java and I'm not using IE) and a better process model for having lots of open tabs. It would be awfully hard to give up any of those things.

It claims to replace bad ads with good ones. Are there any really good ads?

Static, text-only content created and hosted on the server with the content you actually visited is probably the least objectionable case.
