This is a giant swell. Biggest ever for a Pro ASP Surf contest to my knowledge.
Tavarua, Cloudbreak, is unique in that it's both huge, hollow and lined up. It's not just a peak you can get out of the way of.
If they ever get it actually running, it will be great to watch.
They are moving all their cameras, in huge surf, from Restaurants, another break, back to Cloudbreak.
It appears they maybe bullshitting.
They might be shooting at Cloudbreak to show off the incredible waves, and then go back to Restaurants, considerably smaller, but a fantastic wave for the contest.
We'll see.
