Hi
I'm using a HP 4000N that has worked fine for a long time. I've been using PC Maclan to get my pc to see it, and, I keep getting this message:

"ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND:

STACK:"

It prints fine, but then prints this stupid error message on a seperate piece of paper, after printing whatever I want printed.

Anyone have any ideas?

WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS. After installing, and uninstalling PCMaclan, and the printer software drivers, and software for the HP, I finally found a setting in pcmaclan that defaulted to print warnings, "alter and send warning message"
or "send as is" setting. It SEEMS at this point, that it's repaired.

What a fun way to spend part of Sunday...

I also found the new "universial driver" hp just came out with is, at this point,
not working with PC MACLAN, and, does not have an uninstall feature. NICE
work, HP.

That looks like a PostScript error page.

If you have an option titled "Enable PostScript Error Handler" somewhere under one of the advanced properties for your printer driver, set it to disabled. HP and Microsoft printer drivers default to "enabled" -- and that's a joke. It's not an error "handler" at all. All it does is waste a sheet of paper reporting the error. It really doesn't handle anything.

Also, if you are trying to print a PDF, in the advanced features in Acrobat, set to print "as image", rather than via postscript.
