Anyone ever use this? Does it molest the source PC in any way I should know about?

From what I understand you run it in a running workstation with admin privileges so an encrypted disk shouldn't be a problem, agree?

Thinking about taking a machine to virtual but it can't mess up the source computer, vm would be for testing but could turn out to be the replacement.

I am omnipresent
It doesn't molest the source PC other than the resource drain required in its operation.
On the other hand, based on my limited experience I could not get it to make an image that was actually bootable, either.

I had better luck with the old fashioned p2v assistant.

I've used it quite a bit; many of my VM servers were once physical and went without issue. I've also used it to preserve old workstations and their programs before an upgrade.

I encountered one glitch, where a licensing server detected the change somehow and required reactivation, but many such products never noticed.

I only used it once on a live machine. It went well except it was extremely slow.
Now I make a backup of the machine with Acronis and convert the backup.
