Love this thread. Just had to reinstall everything on my 7900, and this helped a TON.

That 100% was on my Panasonic CF-53A, which I was using while the 7900X3D was in the shop. Somehow, my operating system was corrupted, and I couldn't even reload Windows 11. Never happened with 10.

:) Chrome sucks on the laptop, compared to Firefox. Freezes, because it uses all the CPU. Firefox, not even close. FF is using 40% of the memory right now, and about 3-6% of the cpu.

Anyway to speed Firefox up?

Firefox runs with a LOT less CPU then Chrome. 16% with a show running and this window open. Chrome would be over 80% with the same running. WHY?

Learning this trackball mouse really needs a second, vertical/normal mouse as a backup. It can get frustrating, but being able to use a normal mouse with my right hand solves a lot of the frustration, and there is PLENTY.

Thanks all. I think I'll follow Sedrosken, and stay with Office 2006-7, or Wordperfect 6x Office. I own both, and don't have to do any of their stuff. If I want to get fancy, I'll give Googles office stuff a try, too. Much difference between Office 2006 and 2021? How do you get 2021? I see...
