If I understand your new quandry correctly, your new problem is that while people on the outside can connect to your RED (external) IP address you can not. However, you can connect to the NAT ip address of the game server. This is normal. When you try to connect to the external IP address from...

Agape is love that does not depend on the receiver only on the giver. It is not necessarily emotional in nature. It is most easily identified by the need to give Traits of Agape from I Corinthians 13: Agape endures. Agape is kind. Agape is not envious. Agape is not self-serving. Agape is not...

US Army to launch "America's Army" line of games!

I would add to that reflective. Try this "skip the flash" link. http://www.americasarmy.com/flashjumppage.html I think this also has flash on it. This page refers to two games. An RPG and FPS.

Phileo, Agape and Eros are three greek words used to describe love. I believe you are looking for Phileo. Eros is the root of erotic, so I'm sure you can figure that one out. Agape is the type of love you would have for God. Phileo is the type of love you would have for fellow man. This is as...

XP 1800+ makes MB produce a tone

Yes I have JP3 set properly and I did clear CMOS. I have the 2.0 revision. Also (since I just tried it again) when I hit the power button it will only stay powered on for a max of 5 sec. Usually only about 3. I just asked for an RMA number.

XP 1800+ makes MB produce a tone

I plug in the Duron with MB set to 100 and it works. I plug in the 1700 with MB set to 133 and it works. I leave MB and plug in 1800 and I get a tone. No bios screen or video of any kind.

XP 1800+ makes MB produce a tone

That should be K7VTA3, a board Coug swears by, not at. This board should accept all XPs. I have only one other K7 board but the HSF is of the screw down type and I'm not going to take it off. The 1800 is a new purchase so it might be DOA.

XP 1800+ makes MB produce a tone

I can't tell where the tone is coming from on the MB (ECS KVVTA3). I can throw in a Duron 950 or a 1700+ and it works but no go with the 1800. Am I right to think the 1800 is dead? If so what is the tone supposed to mean?

More than likely you will need to open the specific ports for the games as well as GS. I have run several different games through SW running here but I've only hosted a few: AOEII, Rogue Spear, Ghost Recon and Roger Wilco. What games are you trying to get to work?

Yes, that is exactly what the battery does. There are default settings that are kept in a non-volitile area of the CMOS and it read-only. When you go into the BIOS and make changes, the changes are stored in the volitile area and maintained through power-downs by the battery. As you know, on...

    Amtrak shut down imminent

Personally, I wish I could ride my bicycle all the place that I need to go. The biggest problem is a lack of secure racks. I think what you suggest here is a great idea (including SS :) ). I too recognize the value of the nation's Interstate highway system even if I use them rarely. WorldCom hits the dirt
