My company is transitioning over to these things and I get to be one of the beta testers, whoopee.
One problem, we have a call center that sends out pages via email and I need this thing to make lots of noise when that happens and to pretty much ignore the rest of the emails.
The complication here is that the email address changes for each page (due to the system we are using). So I need to use some sort of wild card for the portion of the email address before the @ symbol.
For some reason you can't just enter in the email address on the exception page so what I did was make a new contact with *@domain.com for their email address with the domain that these pages come from. Then I went under profiles and made a new Exception with that contact that will use a different ring tone and profile (the Loud one).
This didn't work for me for some reason and I am done playing with the thing for today, anyone know about this stuff?
It is a 7250 if that matters
