I decided to try the motion video option of the new digital camera we bought and I'd like to share this funny clip with everyone.

Video 1

I went camping all last week and a small friend decided to visit the campsite. Let me know what you think. It's about 4 MB :)

This next clip is a continuation of the first one. It's not all too exciting, but it was fun.

Video 2

Part way through the week I went on a whale watch. I was able to get video of a finback whale. The video isn't that great because I was guessing at where to aim the camera. The sun was very bright and also there were tons of people in the way. :)

Video 3

Here is some random video of the boat I was on. There was a second boat just like it that was out to watch whales with us.

Video 4

All the videos were taken at 320x240 at 16 FPS. There is a higher setting, but it uses too much memory so I didn't bother. I'll post some other images later.

Here is a shot Laura took on our way to Maine. We were going about 80 MPH and took a picture of the Piscataqua bridge. We are still learning how to use the camera, so the shot may not look the best. I have some other example I will share later.

Piscataqua Bridge

Image is very large to show detail (2560 x 1920 Pixels)

That deer in the first video gave me pause for a moment, Doug. When I first saw it in the distance, it looked like a Kangaroo! I think it was because I only saw the head and ears clearly, and I was sitting there wondering what the hell a roo was doing in Maine when I saw that it had four legs!

Guess I'm not used to seeing deer in the forests. :)

Nice pictures Doug and those videos turned out well too. In the first video it looks like you recorded the deer relieving itself.

Yes, the deer was leaving us a present. It was the first video I tried to take with the camera, and found it to be rather humorous.
