Anybody else see those domain for sale pages instead of storageforum today?
I'm glad Doug fixed it. But what happened? Maybe it was just me.

I just switched my domain servers to opendns and the problem goes away.
The funny thing is it didn't do it if I used just storageforum.net. But any request to www.storageforum.net caused it. I'll post a screenshot.

And yes it goes back to bad once I switch my dns servers to automatic.
Yes I'm issueing a ipconfig /flushdns after resetting them.

When good I get 69.57.180.83 as the IP.
When bad I get 66.45.244.194 as the IP.
A dnsstuff.com domain report lists www.storageforum.net as 69.57.180.83.

I think this is just a bad cached copy in my company's local dns servers.
The question is, where did the bad cached copy come from?

That is really strange. In one of your screen captures there was a popup advertisement. Is there any chance of spyware doing something funny with your system? Is anyone else having this issue?

It was definitely a dns not spyware problem.
I did a full scan of the system, check the host file, etc.
I informed our IT person and I think she updated the dns cache on the gateway because it now resolves to the correct address. Or the automatic syncing of dns servers did it.

I figured out that different dns servers were the culprit and changed mine so I could get here. See it worked fine from home this morning but not when I got into work.

Didn't you read his posts? He changed his DNS servers and stopped having the issue.
