Dual Core Picasa

So picasa acts up on my dual core machine.
So I cobbled together a littel C program to run it in uniprocessor mode.
The path is hardcoded in it to C:\Program Files\Google\Picasa\Picasa2.exe.

Maybe this will help someone else out.
What was happening was it was not picking up new pictures in watched folders.

This sounds like the Processor affinity bug. This patch may be of interest

My understanding is this patch forces processor affinity. Maybe you could try it out?

I run F@H on my machine all the time so the CPUs are always 100%.
I don't think there is a problem with the processor power state.
Maybe I misunderstand the bug and the patch?
