Yet another bizarro techie thing from Mercutio:
When you Assign a Task in MSOutlook, the recipient should recieve a message with a prompt to Accept or Decline the task.
Outlook-users among us might be familiar with that option.
For mail routed through my exchange server, this does not happen. Instead, the task is displayed as a normal message, without the Accept or Decline options.
Mail routed externally through any other server (internal Linux IMAP or through our ISP) does not have this defect.
There does not appear to be an Outlook setting related to this.
On the server, I'm using the X.400 mail connector only. I enabled SMTP and POP3 briefly but this did not change anything.
My exchange setup is fairly vanilla, except for disabled internet mail.
Anyone have any ideas?
