question How to boot to alternate disk on Linux

Hi,

My system has Linux 6.2 on one disk.
I just now installed Linux 5.4 on another disk.

After successful installation, the menu asked me to reboot the system.
After reboot, the system boots back on the Linux 6.2 disk.

What must I do to be able to boot off the other disk which has Linux 5.4 ?

You probably need to change your grub.cfg file.

Here's a gentle introduction. As with a lot of Linux things, you're going to have to do a bit of reading.

What distribution are you talking about? I would guess CentOS or RHEL based on the version numbers you gave.
