Hi Everyone,
I'm adding import/export playlist support to an application (gmtp), and am pondering on the which playlist format to use for the process. I don't see a point in creating my own format, when quite a few already exist, and also makes importing playlists from other applications a neat feature.
Out of interest, for those that use playlists with their media collection, what format is your playlist stored in?
I personally use M3U, but am interested in what other formats people may be using.
Also is it possible to import/export a playlist out of iTunes to a M3U file? (I know it can do it's own playlist format, which is XML based, but wondering about m3u).
