It's weird, I've never heard anybody complain about anything TiVo other than it's not free.

I can't justify $38/month for standard cable service but $300 or $13 a month for a TV guide... wow.

... that was me rolling my eyes, in case you missed it.

Here, let me do it again.

Free TiVo is certainly a step in the right direction. Being able to pause any home entertainment, or random-access within content is absolutely killer, and one of my main objections to traditional television service.

i think the complete lack of season passes is a bad idea - they should allow 1 or 2 of them. this is the inspiration to pay for it.

i own a tivo series2 80hr (lifetime service) and i can't imagine watching tv without it
