Reporting news events

Is it ok to post news in the Computers forum? Or should it be brought to somone's attention (Coug / Doug) ?

I always use the Submit News link on the home page.

If you have a news item, you can either post it, or submit it from the front page. If you post it in the forum and want it on the front page, then you should let coug or I know about it.
