It's amazing. And still most people don't get it we share almost 99% of our genome with these primates. And most of the genes that differ are "control genes" which only regulate the quantity of expression of other, all-primate genes.

Excuse me! I share 100% of my genes with orangutans, young Mr Wizard. And about 95% or so with humans. Which is a little embarassing, but I'm used to it.
