Same topic, different names.

I really don't feel this country is the "land of the free" any more. That's a very difficult thing to say. Certainly not what I was raised to think.
Everything that I read and hear about, related to my rights as a citizen of the US in, oh, probably the last 10 years, has been related to how those rights are being curtailed.

Of course, I gaze out over the ocean, and there isn't anyplace that's better, either.

It's just all very disappointing.

Big Brother has arrived. It seems apt that the relevant law was passed in 1984.

The Australian government wants to pass the same sorts of laws, but so far the opposition parties have denied them.

As for SuperDMCA, doesn't that mean that blocking your CallerID is a crime punishable by up to four years in prison?
