I have an old Umax Astra 2100U scanner that I've been using for some years. Apparently, I neglected to test it with x64 before making the leap.
This particular scanner has WIA drivers that install fairly seemlessly with x85 XP. According to the Microsoft website (a dubious source, I know), there are x64 drivers that should come with Win2k3 x64. Checked both XP and Win2k3 Server x64 disks; no WIA drivers. There's also no apparent driver on Microsoft Update.
Much search on this model has yielded stuff starting with "where do I find the drivers."
Any clues as to where Microsoft has stashed these drivers?
