I was considering buying a new version of the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1's. They've been getting rave reviews for 20 years.
The Bluetooth models use a dongle that is synced to only that set of speakers, and that's the only way to access them. Plug the USB dongle in, and they work.
NOT what I had in mind.
I wanted something I could hook up to a variety of Bluetooth devices.
The solution:
Klipsch R-15PM's.
They are your more or less normal 500.00 Klipsch speakers, with a remote, powered internally, accepting a bunch of different ways to access them, including regular Bluetooth.

So how do they sound? Like a Klipsch home theatre, without the sub, but I'm getting to that. Base from the speakers is actually pretty good, and they rock.
Watching Kong Skill Island, and it's pretty amazing. Using the Aux cable, on board sound card.
Now the fun part.
I moved recently and sold my Klipsch 4.1's and my Hereseys. I did keep the KSW-12 subwoofer.
It's hooked up to the system, and you would think Kong is in the room.

The r-15PMs are being taken out of production, so they are pretty near half price. 269.00 at best buy. THAT is one hell of a deal compared to the Pro Media 2.1's, and their limited Blue Tooth functions.
Overall, it's been a real good computer day.
