Of course I accept full responsibility, but I don't know why it happens sometimes and not others. :dunno:
Nitecore TM10K. What were they thinking having 10,000 lumens for a maximum of 7 seconds[/bi] before dropping to 400-2000? :crap:

Yeah, Max Output 10000 Lumens, right near the top. Gotta justify $200 U.S. for a flashlight. But that includes The Manual for a flashlight.
It is $300, not $200. Based on the max cd that beams is really wide too. 
A single XHP35 light would be nearly enough for the same brightness after the first 7 seconds, cost a lot less, and have a better beam.

It is rather small and should fit in most women's pockets as well, though it could fit a purse or handbag.
Most of the flashlights look like they were designed by some military or sci-fi dude. :lol:
Not that I like Apple, but maybe they could help design flashlights to be more attractive to normal people and especially women.

So the new v2 version has higher lumens in the brightest mode, but the run time must be ridiculously short. V1 only lasts about 30 minutes before it is almost dead.
There is no decent middle output; it needs a 200 lumen mode.

I hadn't heard of them until I read your post. Had to google it. I guess you want a small flashlight that has a laser-like beam with less than stellar battery life it's a good solution.

So I'm looking for a headlamp with good brightness and high cri.
I still use my hc90, works great, but I have a need to illuminate when mowing in the evening hours, now that it's getting pretty dark by 6pm. The hc90 doesn't give me the definition I'm looking for when mowing and trimming. Will only be used on lawns where I've previously cut during daylight, so I'll already be aware of hazards.
Cpf forums seem to recommend this one:

yeah that would have been cool. Just shipped out of CA so prob a week away. Apparently they had the same color scheme on the smaller baton light for 4th of July and sold out in minutes, so they made more for this release. There's a magnetic remote switch available I may try that later.
