For some reason GPU folding isn't working for me under Linux. It doesn't see my GPU. I have opencl installed as well the latest proprietary nVidia drivers.

It tells me no GPU is available and removes the slot when I try to enable it.

"sudo find / -name GPUs.txt" returns absolutely nothing. That could be a problem. Do you have a copy you could upload somewhere or tell me how to get it from F@H themeselves?
Frankly my PPD count is getting a bit ridiculous given my hardware... I was getting roughly 13k PPD under Windows 10, now I'm getting almost 19k. Is Linux seriously that much more efficient with hardware resources?
So, about 24 hours into resuming your contribution, September is already your best month ever. Or at least, since I've been compiling stats (October 2010). Your previous best month total was in June 2012 with a score of 73524 points. Your first 6 completed units gave you 87980 points so far.Ok I'm back into production with sons laptop, looks like I should get about 6k per day from the CPU and 4k per day from the GPU.
He was already in front of you.Great, you should pass me up in no time.
Yeah I discovered the fah viewer app, looks like 7 Haswell cores at approx 3.2 GHz is good for about 17,000 PPD, and the 980GTX is good for about 180,000 per day. Had to move the slider all the way to the right to get the gpu working hard. Can barely hear the fans with everything cranked which I didn't expect, though the power supply brick is pretty toasty.
Edit: Replaced 780 with 980
GTX 980 should get you ~350K - ~360K per day if you run it 24x7.
While we greatly appreciate your effort, you do realize that a laptop isn't designed to operate 24x7, especially one with a powerful heat-generating GPU, right? No one wants you to kill your hardware. Running the FAH client for some 8 hours per day would already be very good. More than this and I feel the risk for your hardware isn't worth it. Unless of course if you shit money like Ddrueding does.Sorry I made a typo it's a 980M.

And it will take you some time before you pass all the "defunct" members. Especially the former leader of our team, who really is defunct : P5-133XL. Mark's first 15 million points were done on hardware less powerful than what you currently use. When you think about it, it's insane the level of dedication he's had over a little more than a decade.
