Found a refurb for 139 with new warranty from Amazon, so went with that. Amazon lists as 'new'

Just compared the Fire to the Kindle. She likes the bigger, much fewer page changes of the the Fire, with the same size text. Plus all the other stuff she can do with it. So now I need to figure out when to get the bigger one.

OK. I hate Steam. Trying to put my old stuff on this computer, and 11, didn't really work. Haven't figured out what software screwed it up yet, but I will. Any suggestions? or how to set it up so it gives me information I can do something, based on it?

I didn't do anything but restart the computer. I didn't hit anything, or do any input. Found this very strange. I did do the uninstall, and deleted about 50 Norton Registry entries. That I did do..

So the computer wouldn't start. Then, it did it's own auto repair, which I had never seen before, and it's up. Of course a Norton 360 add came up, and since I'd already deleted Norton, I was wondering how it got back on the computer? upgrade for Windows 11 brought it? So I deleted it, again...

Found the F8 and F10 switches either were 2 prong, and didn't fit, or came out, and one of the prongs was bent. Fixed that. Helped big time in reinstall. Appears a third part driver is causing problems, but, so far the WhoCrashed log is limited, and doesn't name the crashed driver. Changed the...

Update on desktop. The keyboard, Nu Phy Halo 96 V2 wireless keyboard with Kalih BOX Navy switches, Canopus Shine-through -Black/Halo V2/ Field HE/ Gem, has a flat kind of wrist rest. Seems OK. Did get two bad switches, that happened to go into F8 And F10 slots. Not a good thing. Fixed those, and...

Update: Left hand is working well. Surgery is being scheduled on the right. Thumb hurts, getting to can't sleep level of pain. Had to rethink all the 'wrist rests' that put pressure on the area that your hands are operated on, and the area that creates CTS.
