All-electric cars are a nice idea, for a 2nd car. No way I want to be stranded if I forget to plug it in one day or have a temporary power outage that doesn't allow me to charge the batteries when I need to. Or, if I have to run to the hospital or the doctor for something and my car is not...

All sounds like good stuff. I must admit I don't really understand how it works but it seems like it would be a lot of work as well as time consuming to try to find/download the stuff you want to watch (let alone get it in HD). Am I wrong? Are there any good guides online I could learn from...

My Dad has an AOpen VK8T800a-LF S754 board that has been chugging along with a 2600+ Sempron (since end of 2005) with no issues. Are AOpen & Asus related at all? The system is working fine for him. What are the odds you think he will have a Cap. issue in the future if he has not had one yet?

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I bought my brother in law his 5770 for about $160 and they are still in the $140-$150 range.... That being said, my 9600GT still runs Dirt2 just fine at 1650x1050...

Give darshin a break. I don't see time backing up any of his comments with anything concrete. I'd say HE should have shown some discretion (& done some homework) in the first place.

Does that monitor have a shiny/reflective screen or more of a matte finish? I prefer matte and would like to get something in the next 6 months...

I have tried neither but the Alpine looks like it would be much quieter than the Thermaltake, even without reading their propaganda.

Noted. Just a good option to keep in your tool kit as it seemed to be able to remove some rootkits and other malware that malwarebytes and many of the other popular choices that are out there missed.. Besides, with 4GB RAM, I should use it for something. :-)
