    What's your start page?

My homepage is SF's forum page on Moz-based browsers, and Microsoft.com for IE (which is, honestly, the only thing I need IE for, since huge portions of Microsoft's site don't work except in IE). I visit SF through google quite a bit, too, which is always through the front page, since I'm too...

    Switch SCSI controllers?

Use the old card. That single drive is a good match for its capabilities, and now you have a new card sitting around for some high-end drive you may purchase someday.

    "Natural" keyboard

"Natural" keyboards suck. I'm left handed, and there are keys I normally hit with fingers on my left hand, that're on the right side of the split. They're obviously a communist plot to force people into inferior right-handedness.

    Credit Card Obnoxiousness

It turns out that a fairly large number of online credit processors have ceased to process debit cards, which they were doing before. After prodding and poking about this, the only solution, if I want to use my debit card for online purchases, is to call and make purchases by phone. How utterly...

Is there an easier way to format a floppy?

XP has the ability to make a reasonably nice DOS boot disk. Boot to DOS, and use the DOS format command to make your disk.

One thing you might try is installing a simpler OS - Windows 98, say, or maybe Windows 2000 (depending on what that controller supports) - on your array. If 98 works and XP doesn't, it's fair to suggest that your RAID hardware is OK and you'll need to examine your actions during the XP install...
