I am omnipresent
Yesterday I went to visit a gentleman named Bob.
Bob's partner was a computer collector.

Bob's house is filled with perhaps two or three thousand boxed copies of Apple II, Atari, Commodore and Macintosh software, much of it still in shrink wrap.

There were a few games (Temple of Apshai, made in 1979, the original Ultima for Apple II), but staggering amounts of graphics and productivity software, including boxed copy of Photoshop from v. 1 to v.5.

Hardware-wise, the guy had a Lisa, a PET, a Timex Sinclair, three Amigas and perhaps a dozen different varieties of Mac, all in their original packaging.

Bob really does not know what to do with all of it. His partner passed away, and even he was just collecting the stuff. He doesn't want to throw it all out. Does anyone know what to do with a huge collection of old computer stuff?

Ebay with a really good writeup, you know really sell it in the description? Likely in a lot or logical bundles. Could be sitting on some money, weirder things have happened. Especially if it is wacky enough to get /. mentioned or something.

If you're not getting a *huge* payback on this, just forget about it. Otherwise, you need to find out *all* of the how do we say it "conditional issues" "Bob" has with the items. If you can't determine those issues, you'll just end up biting your fingernails off, or pulling all of your hair out :D

Suggestion, post the question(s) on www.macrumors.com forums (the products you mentioned are mostly Apple centric, correct? Then don't ask for such advice on a PC centric forum...do'h). Be prepared to answer many questions.

I almost go to go there when I was out visiting San Jose. I walked by it when I was out looking for lunch with a group of coworkers.
