Hi all, can anybody tell me what software I can use to enable/disable AM on Maxtor drives?

And what is write caching? Thanks.

The IBM utility works on Seagate drives, I guess it works on Maxtors too.

The IBM Feature Tool, Liam. You can grab the Windows verzion or the Linux verzion from theze linkz. I assume that if it works on Seagate it should work on Maxtor. Do Maxtor not have one of their own? Or have they, in Seagate style, decided that useers are too ztupid to be trusted with uzeful software?
