In 1970, Pierre Trudeau declared martial law in Quebec. So why not name Montreal's airport after him?

Yes, I am posting this just to get a rise out of Coug. Retaliation for the Gabe Newell thing. ;D

For those who dont get the DC reference...

In 1981, Ronald Reagan fired a whole lot of striking air traffic controllers (members of PATCO) who had very legitimate complaints about their working conditions. In 2001, Washington DC's airport was renamed for him.

Yeah, I was pretty pissed when I heard that they would name the Dorval airport by the name of that bastard. Still don't know if I'm going to do something about it. PET ("farth" in french BTW) doesn't deserve to have his name anywhere in Québec, especially not in the city where I'm born.

The Canadians can honor him as much as they wish, but to us, he was a total jerk and he built his political career on our back.
