I would imagine it was the same way the vehicle got onboard the boat. Don't check what gear you are in before you slam on the gas. Or the clutch gave out.

Yeah but that looks like someones back garden... and the car looks like it went in from the side which is closed.

On the right of the picture you can not see whether that is a garage area or a wall. Judging by the angle of the car wrt the pool and what looks to be debris lying in the doorway; I sould say my guess still holds in that someone backed into the pool.

You know, it never occured to me that perhaps the car reversed into the pool... I just assumed since it was pointing towards the right then it must have come in from the left... :roll:
