Another Retro Question

Hey all, I have a Link Terminal (MC5 I think?) with parallel, Auxiliary, and Main labels on three ports on the back. I also have an IBM PC/XT which used to be connected to this computer. When I "inherited" this computer, I was (and still am) unable to make a working connection between the terminal and the PC. As far as I know, it was simply used as a monitor, but I get no response from the terminal no matter how I make the physical connection. Anyone have some info on this?

Yes I believe that's the one. Mine is older (1993?) but I think it is basically identical.

I should add that I would like to simply use it as a regular monochrome monitor as it was once used, if possible.
