Aussies are guinea pigs for software anti-piracy

It seems Australia is the test bed for software anti-piracy. Now Adobe is "piloting" activation for the Windows retail version of Photoshop 7. Read all about it here:

I remember Microsoft tested activation for Office2000 in Australia before implementing it world-wide.

As it doesn't affect volume licensed product, pirates won't have any problems with the activation scenario.

Also PS7 has been out for a while now, I would think that anyone upgrading would have done so by now.

I like the part where when the product is discontinued, all activations are auto approved. So when PS8 is released, it's no holes barred on PS 7?
