Indeed, although it confirms what I think most people already realized. Based on my own limited observations, I would say that ReiserFS feels faster than ext2 more often than the tests might suggest.

If he was going to that much trouble, why didn't the reviewer include Reiser 4? Now that would have been compulsive reading.

it would also be nice to see the tests benched on more modern hardware instead of an older pIII machine which probably is using a 440BX chipset.
