Blackberry and Thunderbird

I figure this isn't exactly a Tech Support question.

I can't seem to find any kind of utility to sync contacts from Thunderbird to Blackberry. What little information I could find on RIM's pathetic site was from 2002 (and didn't mention Thunderbird - or for that matter any email client except Outllook).

Although I still use Tbird, I haven't changed my poor opinion of it and its even-weaker sibling, Sunbird calendar. Unfortunately, I have an equally poor opinion of Outlook, but for different reasons.

Does anyone here use Blackberry (or some sort of SmartPhone), and if so, without Outlook?

To be clear, I investigated finchsync and indeed got it to work with my HTC6800 phone, but it's not something I need since all my email is stored on IMAP servers and therefore already synchronized with everything else that connects to it. I don't have any long term impressions.

Thanks, Merc. IMAP means actual email isn't an issue - it's the contacts to enable sending emails that I'm concerned about.
