Thanks, CityK. Very interesting read. I'm wondering how much cheaper LEDs can get at this point, at least the 5mm indicator ones. Whites are under $0.10 in quantity while red, amber and orange can be had for as little as a penny. If this process can bring greater efficiencies, greater consistency, and lower cost then we may have a winner on our hands. It'll be interesting to see how many different types of solid-state lighting we ultimately end up with.
