Actually it looks like my discs top out at SP2. Which is weird 'cause the last notebook I got with discs I purchased less than a year ago.

I presume I can get it working with SP2 disks by setting it up in ATA mode and then converting to AHCI. Thanks Merc.

I seem to have lost my official SP3 disc, but I've used nlite in the past to update my SP2 discs before.

I know I have an xp pro disk somewhere for Dell laptops, not sure what sp it is but I could check if you need it.

You don't need the disk, just the BIOS files.

The disk I have here is XP pro SP2 dell pn TD876. Think it came from a D610.
