Highly amusing indeed - but unfortunately, not at all surprising. :-?

I see that NOD32 has added 'generic' detection of rootkits, to prevent new unknown ones being installed, i.e., it's less reliant on identfying signatures. Users should already have the update through the automated regular update service.
