Disappearing threads.

I replied to a post by Mercurto on replacing his computer labs PCs. But now the entire post is GONE.

Well, almost a week ago, I posted in the news forum about the upcoming new Nvidia GPU and it never appeared. I just made the assumption, that since the news forum requires that the post be validated before appearing, that the validation gods decided it was not up to snuff.

sorry mark...some how I missed that one. I approved it (now)...be it too late. I can remove that extra step to post in the news. I usually get notified, but I did not this time...sorry about that it was nothing personal.

I agree with the validation step. Without it, someone could simply register and then post advertising or worse, as news. It just didn't work well in this instance, but then things happen.

So, don't worry. If it had been a big deal I would have PM'ed you about the issue. It's not as if I get any real inside info that hasn't been seen elsewhere by others here. I just thought that it would interest some.

The only reason it was ever mentioned was this thread about losing posts. It is worthwhile, for me to mention it, if for no other reason than if posts were disappearing and you didn't know about it.
