"A Sydney man who received just over $60,000 in damages for injuries he received in a bizarre pub prank says he has disappointed with the amount.

The accident occurred when he slipped on fat that had been left by a man wearing pork chops as shoes.

Troy Bowron sued Ross Lucock, the man who wore the meat on his feet at the Jannali Inn in Sydney's south, and its licensee, over the 1997 incident.

Mr Bowron broke his arm when he slipped on the pork fat, effectively ending his career as an upholsterer.

District Court Judge Anthony Puckeridge today ruled that while the Inn and its licensee should be held responsible, Mr Lucock owed no duty of care.

Mr Bowron, who was ultimately awarded $61,500 dollars had little to say other than he was not happy with the amount, while Mr Lucock admitted the experience had taught him something.

"Probably behave myself a little bit more next time but it was alright, it was a good outcome - I couldn't have hoped for any better," Mr Bowron said."
