DVD audio burning

I would like to take the sound tracks from a DVD and burn them to a CD.
The DVD is a concert. Will Shrink DVD and Nero allow me to do this?

For an audio CD, you'd probably have to convert the AC3 to PCM first. Vdub or FlaskMPEG can do that.

I saw an article about homebrew DTS CDs a while back, so if your DVD has a DTS track, and you're working with a sophisticated CD player you can actually keep the fully audio quality of the DVD. I'll have to find that article again...

I haven't had time to try anything.
But a freind has used DVD Audio Ripper (http://www.imtoo.com/dvd-audio-ripper.html) to extract music from a concert DVD to a CD in MP3 format. Said it worked like a champ.
