I might not have poked around enough and missed where I am supposed to put a "Hello!" post, but I will blame that mistake on age --- being in my 8th decade as a human. Not sure what I was before I was a human, as I can't remember that far back.

And my "Feedback" part of this post is I am very congratulative for the owner(s) allowing us to still use a GMail account to register. Seems many site owners have less time to chase away all the spammers using Google's mail service to register and so we get no confirmation email and when that first happens we don't know why.

Oh yes, and us humans in our 8th decade are allowed to invent new words. You, in your 7th decade and lower, have to get special permission to do so. I love that wavy red line under that new word, too.

I'll just use this thread, instead of creating a new one.

Is anyone else noticing they get sort of auto logged out after doing a post? This has happened to me twice --- once yesterday (JST) and just now. But I also don't allow any of that 'stay logged in' stuff, nor never remember this-or-that on any browser I might be using. Just a bit ago my User ID was showing up there at the top, but when I clicked on it to log out it gave me a cute thing about 'No Can Do' - 'You No Be Logged In' --- something like that. (I think the programmed wording's grammar was much better.)

Yeah, I've noticed that sometimes too. I'll sometimes get booted out for no discernible reason. It's not a big inconvenience for me to log back in, but it can get annoying sometimes.

Thank you for the feedback, sedrosken. I agree, it's not such a big deal and I was more like thinking that the admin might want to know in case it could add information to help with a bigger problem. Sometimes little clues can help with a bigger problem. Myself, I've never run a site that was bug free 100% of the time. And over the years that's been a wide range of platforms and servers. In fact, I recall one of y'all mentioned something about php and the phpBB was a platform I've used a few times. In fact, this XenForo platform I recall using back a few years. Sometimes these platforms and servers get like pets; funny little things always happening, no matter how much an admin tries to get it to behave.

Anyway, appreciate you noticing the post.

EDIT: Just happened again after that post in the other thread AND my old brain just remembered that one site, but maybe not mine, had the same problem if you clicked off the "Stay Logged In" choice. I'd forgotten all about that. Don't remember what platform that was, though. I guess that is the platform telling me it doesn't like me doing that. Special communication from machine to me. Neat.
