Firefox Tweak question

Is it possible to configure the download window so that certain specific files or file types do not appear?

I would've thought there would be an add-on to do it, but it doesn't look like there is such a thing at the moment.

The only annoyance I have with the downloads window is when I go a couple months without looking at it and it takes forever to open.

You don't have it set to clear an entry when a download is complete?

Nope. I keep that stuff as a log of which computer I was on when I downloaded something. Sometimes that's useful or important to me.
